It turns out our super stuck up Ms. Panache is in love. That's right, the fashion 'shrew'  who at times even manages to find flaws with Channel and Gucci is simply mesmerized by JEANS!

Our fashionable snob Ms. Panache has found true love in the arms or rather inseam of denim. Once she got her snooty hinny in a pair of Donna Karen she spent the entire day in them which may not sound that unusual but this is a women who changes every four hours to keep up with the suns changing direction. Read on to share the love....

Seasonal Basics

Fall (September, October, November) simple, corporate ready start look get back into the grind of things no fuss, fast knock out looks that

Winter (December, January, February) formal, pulled together, neat, ceremonial, look when you're back in the swing of things, while still somewhat festive, with the holiday season in mind

Summer (June, July, August) casual and relaxed, everybody is in a holiday frame of mind, think comfort, and fun

Spring (march, April, may) festive (Easter), think color, flora, and lots of cheeriness all around it's one the most 'busy' and 'exciting' seasons (cause your glad winter has wrapped and summer flowing near)

The DENIM Affair

'the love affair with the multiplying 'Jean-etics" of Denim

If there could ever be such a thing as a perfect article of clothing it simply has to be a pair of perfect blue jeans. Denim has power and unlike other members of the 'fabric' dynasty, this little element doesn't necessarily fall to pieces without dry cleaning (like the beautiful yet sensitive child known as silk) or shrink down to 3 sizes if your dryer setting altered just a notch (hyper sensitive cotton per say). The once 'boys' only garment is now available for the chicas with more variety than you can imagine.

That's right sista! The 40's are over and the tough so called macho pants are now dominated by us the fairer sex, plus lets face it we all know how gorgeous Tyson Bedford or cute pie Antonio Sabato Jr. looks in a pair of Levis so why not share the secret wrapped within a pair of pants that's cut perfectly to flatter your other wise out of shape structure you call a body (Seriously go visit the Health Nut) .  Ouch! Okay I'll admit it that's was harsh even for me so don't start through a fit just yet.  I am promise I'll be nice from now on.

So anyways ways the apparent fashion staple - Blue Jeans has lasted through decades of revolving fashion from the shaggadelic sixties to the outrageously fluffy shirted, teased rats nest hair to the calmer and much classier styles of the late nineties and now; and I refuse to accept the current sporadic (I simply must insist on the sporadic part) prevalence of the 80's grunge.

Yards and yards of this lovable fabric has been processed and mixed with varying fabrics and chemicals to create the perfect, stretch, comfy, and sexy piece of clothing you can simply live in.

Style: the styles vary and the wide selection of choices includes, embroidery, studs, or slightly shimmer texture through out the fabric for a perfect pair of party appropriate denim. Cargo style, and button or zip fly, hip hugging, fraying cuffs and so on pretty much says it all for the style department.

Occasion: since the cut and styles are so endlessly varied, designers have managed to create a style and look in jeans that just about fit every occasion. And there's a style tailored to suit people of all ages too; so if your hiding grays than a pair of low rider belly button baring DKNY might not be your best bet.

Cut: The most fashionable cut can be summed up as low rider, form fitting bootlegged. Cut in simply to create a smooth elongated and shapely look to flaunt all your good parts and tuck way 'those' areas that you are less than proud of. Also remember to always look for a perfect fit when it comes to shopping for a new pair of blues.

Coordination: The choices here are also limitless. As luck would have it a pair of jeans actually has the capacity to look fashionable with tank-tops, halters, baby tees, shirts, sweater, etc... Jeans basically provides complete fashion freedom, so play around with varying pieces; just remember to always coordinate style, color and texture.

Move with it groove with it & do what you want as long as its in denim.

If there's only one piece of outfit you had to own it would without question be a perfect pair of stretch denim blue jeans.

Mix it up with alternating tops, shoes and your over all look in make up and hair, because the perfect pair of jeans can take you from a fun shopping spree to a hot date.

Ok so you've found the perfect pair of shoes. The hot new style everyone's raving about and in the perfect color. It'll go with a ton of your clothes, and it's made by Hollywood's most talked about designer; and get this-the heel matches your boyfriend's  height perfectly.

Ok so there is a tiny glitch in all this perfection, the price tag is a little over the top, but hey your summer job looks promising.....

if the shoe fits...

The most happening trend in shoes this season is comfort and simplicity. Comfy shoes replace the stiletto trends of the past seasons that only looked chic but required a certain level of skill and effort to actually walk in.

Simple comfy shoes don’t have to imply sneakers or boring old moccasins. This season, less is definitely more, and a wide range of shoes made with minimal intricacy is all the rage.

Its time to pack up all those shoes, with elaborate and overly done designs that might shine on shelves, but look extremely gaudy on your feet.

Shoe stores across the country are stocking up on endless shelves of heels, sandals, and slides/mules in numerous shades of citrus, denim, two-tone combinations, neutrals, brown and of course fashions' faithful color ‘black’; a vivid palette to match everyone’s color preference.

This sleek classical trend isn’t limited to design either, whimsy floral accents, beadwork on neutral tones, and sparingly used rhinestones for evening shoes add a touch of glamour without appearing overly flashy.

Shoes are an integral part of any wardrobe whether it's casual, party, or corporate wear, we simply must suit up our feet with the similar level of enthusiasm we share for the rest of the fashion genre.

The laid-back inspiration behind the latest shoe trends is evident in the considerable use of natural materials such as cork, and jute bringing about a tribal theme, along with a dash of retro.

Once again ‘comfort is key’ this season, whether it’s shoes for style, glamour, beauty, or simply for practical purposes, shoes are stylish only if you can walk in them.

The over all look and feel for this year’s prolonged summer (laced with a touch of earthiness), is casual, relaxed and light, everything that ties in with the feel and mood of summer. So what are you waiting for? Go on and update the bottom half of your wardrobe.

Casual, fun, funky wear that's stylish and comfy enough to kick back in...

Being stylish and absolutely gorgeous all the time may seem like an impossible task achieved only by models whose job descriptions demand it, or something freakishly perfect people know the trade secret too.  But fashion perfection is possible and easy to come by with just a few key pieces and basic style cues. When it comes to street wear it about minimal fuss and clothes that can keep up with you while you're on the run.

Ok so the obvious answer you might think is Jeans + Tee. But lets not limit our choices, after all who ever said you have to be frumpy, boring or ordinary just to cut down on  style time. And as classically stylish as a jeans an T-shirt combo is, there's allot to be said about a monotonous look, as in 'Plain Jane' 'Invisible Joe', "....and you would be...?".

Well then lets start off with a few key tips in staying forever fashionable without being glued to your closet or obsessed with the nearest mall.

First of all, pick out non wrinkly clothes, after all don't you have better things to do then slave around with an iron or pop down the to the nearest laundry mat ten times a day for a quick steam and press; think, back to the time when you wore that perfect white shirt and a single ten minute drive left you with more folds on your back then your sheets in the morning.

Also choose versatile pieces that can be layered around for a quick 'style pick me up' like tank tops, shirts, and jackets. Always remember to pick clothes that don't require constant attention like inadequately fit tube tops that need to be pulled up every two seconds.

Then of course casual means clothes that are comfortable and easy to move around in, so pick out outfits that are stretchy and fit well and is an outfit that's unrestricted, uncomplicated, and simple.

We are not talking about a sack, but simply an outfit that doesn't require allot of self-conscious thoughts, along the lines of "Is my g-string showing?, "Will it ride up?", and so on and so on. Street wear comes down to a savvy look that doesn't slow you down while on the go.

An addicts journey through a sale

Don't go nuts when there's a sale. Discount racks are sometimes filled with flawed gear (so be careful). Don't get suckered into 70% off sales tags. It may be Gucci, it maybe ridiculously cheap but are you ever going to wear a  leopard skin cowl neck sweater? .

Floral wrist corsages that outlast the prom

Attend your prom in perennial bliss. Rhapsody Design Studio’s silk flower wrist corsage is the gift that keeps giving long after the prom is over. Abandon that traditional corsage which will eventually wilt away. Give him strong hints or direct requests that only a Rhapsody Design Studio wrist corsage will do.

Rhapsody has designed a line of floral bracelets adorned with swarovski crystals to make sure you look and feel like the belle of the ball.  As always, we believe in offering our customers a choice.  One design simply will not fit everyone’s style.  Our Delphinium, Magnolia, and Anemone flowers come in two styles- a delicate silk cord designed for an adjustable fit and the ever-so-charming bow in black crushed silk.

Rhapsody’s designs are carefully hand-crafted using the highest quality materials and the utmost care. Each design is based on our motto, which is to create jewelry which we would wear ourselves. Inspiration drawn from near and far, Rhapsody Design Studio pulls creatively from ancient cultures and current trends. Each piece is a reflection of what we love to wear and who we are, feminine, unique and mysterious. For a glimpse of more prom jewelry, visit our website at www.rhapsodyjewelry.com.
